Even running the task manually from the CF11 Admin console, http works as expected https does not. The exact same task works fine for http but not for https. I have a simple test page that just sends an email hourly. Not only does this approach allow relevant meta data to be persisted between task executions, it also allows for more complex intervals to be used.The scheduled tasks does not work in my environment for ColdFusion 11 when using https.

And, ColdFusion scheduled tasks are pretty awesome but, sometimes, it's really nice to keep scheduled task information in a database. Scheduled tasks are a really powerful feature of any application.
